This class is designed to give you all the information you need to create a realistic underwater reef scene within a bead using 104coe Glass. You should be confident on your torch and confident at encasing.
We will learn how to make anemone murrini canes and how to successfully apply, flower and encase your own murrini chips. You will be shown a technique of making barnacle shells using silver foil, making 'seaweed' twisties and their application and how to apply, swirl and encase goldstone and silver wire. Along the way I will give you tips on successfully encasing your elements to create a depth to your bead, and some suggestions on alternative glass that you might like to experiment with in the future.
Ultimately you will be shown how to put all of these elements together and successfully encase to create a beautiful Reef Bead. You will then have the knowledge to take this design and make it your own using your own colors and ideas.
