Marcy Lamberson has been making beads and melting glass for about 20 years and loving it the whole time.  Her work is whimsical, sculptural based glass that can range from historical bobbleheads, to custom snow globes.  She also loves to work with nature as an inspiration as her studio is surrounded on three sides by garden.

Marcy has demonstrated, presented and taught at the International Society of Glass Beadmakers’ (ISGB) Gathering Annual Conference four times and also has taught “Teaching: How to be a Glass Teacher” beginner and advanced seminars for the ISGB for many years.

Some of her details include: Memberships:  International Society of Glass Beadmakers (ISGB) including a Board position, Glass Art Society, Southern Flames ISGB Chapter, including a President and other Board positions.

Currently she is in charge of a Beginning Lampwork group on Facebook and provides free tutorials for the group. You can find her numerous demos on YouTube by searching her name.

She has had her glass art go up on two NASA Space Shuttles and has been carried in the Alaska Iditarod Race for a couple of years through Beads of Courage.  She continues to volunteer her time making Dream Beads for the program member children.

Marcy lives in Atlanta, GA with her retired husband Keith who is now the official bead cleaner and Post Office coordinator . (lol, he is really sweet about taking my packages to the PO)

You can find her in social media as Marcy Lamberson on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest & YouTube. She can be found on Etsy as  “StudioMarcy”.
